Modern, specialist facilities in a community setting – the new Ivy Lane School service offering support for SEND students with their education and affording opportunities to develop community based skills.

Bespoke curricula – access to all national curriculum subjects with carefully sequenced learning opportunities for SEND students to ensure learning is personalized and differentiated for everyone.

Comprehensive assessment – using Ivy Lane School’s bespoke assessment format to support progress towards nationally recognised qualifications.

School therapeutic team – including speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, behaviour therapist and educational psychologist.

Enrichment – careers visits, concert performances, residential experiences, outward-bound activities, swimming lessons, visiting professionals and a range of educational visits.

Ivy Lane School is part of the Hesley Group group and sits under their services for Hesley Group Learning. For over 45 years Hesley Group has provided specialist care, support and education for people with complex care needs, including behaviours that challenge and a learning disability, often in association with autism. The mission statement and values of Hesley Group are embedded within the service we provide at Ivy Lane School.
